CIC bioGUNE celebrates its sixth anniversary with a special lecture by Professor Jesús Avila

(Bilbao, 29 January 2011).- On 28th of January, the Centre for Cooperative Research in Biosciences, CIC bioGUNE, commemorated its sixth anniversary with a star guest, Professor Jesús Ávila, a renowned scientist who has accumulated many awards throughout his career as a researcher.
Professor Ávila offered an interesting lecture, "How to explain the loss of memory in Alzheimer disease", during which he presented the most important advances made in scientific research in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's.
