Advisory Board visits CIC bioGUNE

The Scientific Advisory Board visited the centre between June 16th and 18th, marking the 5th anniversary of the CIC bioGUNE Research Centre's launch. Professors Richard H. Finnell, Angela Gronenborn, Juan Rodés, Roma Rozen, and Roger M. Burnett took this opportunity to appraise the scientific reality of the centre, and attended meetings with the centre's research groups.
The visit closed with a round table discussion, entitled "Reflections on Biomedical Research", held in the atrium of the Structural Biology Unit Building, on Friday 18th. The debate was led by Richard Finnell, Angela Gronenborn, Juan Rodés and Roger Burnett. The four scientists reviewed the current situation of biomedical research and discussed its future prospects.
