The Deputy Minister of Industry and Innovation Visits CIC bioGUNE

The Deputy Minister for Industry and Innovation in the Basque Government, Pedro Hernandez, visited today the facilities of the Structural Biology Unit, CIC bioGUNE, in Bizkaia Technology Park. He was shown the different technological platforms housed in the building 800: X-ray Crystallography, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance NMR and Electron Microscopy. The minister, who was joined for the visit by the Director of Technology of the Basque Government, Edorta Larrauri, held a meeting with the Director General of CIC bioGUNE and bioMAGUNE, Jose M Mato, the Managing Director of CIC bioGUNE, Alfonso Egaña, and the director of the BioBasque Agency Maria Aguirre. He also met Structural Biology Unit's leading research workers and listened with interest to their description of the projects currently underway in the unit's laboratories.
