Encounter with the Training Committee: Coffee Sessions at CIC bioGUNE

This year, CIC bioGUNE – member of BRTA - has organized seven engaging coffee sessions from February to June, bringing together 21 doctoral candidates. This initiative has been warmly embraced by early-stage PhD candidates, aiming to foster closer communication between the Training Committee and participants in a relaxed and informal setting.

The primary goal of these sessions is to encourage meaningful dialogue among doctoral candidates and the Training Committee. Each coffee session provides a platform for small, randomly selected groups of candidates to share their backgrounds, voice concerns, discuss future plans, and exchange ideas. The welcoming atmosphere has empowered candidates to provide valuable feedback and propose innovative initiatives.

Overall, the coffee sessions have proven to be mutually beneficial for both the Training Committee and doctoral candidates. They have facilitated meaningful interactions, sparked creativity, and strengthened our community spirit.

Would you like to have a coffee with our Training Committee?

We invite all doctoral candidates to join us for a cup of coffee and become part of this enriching experience.
