The State Secretary for Universities and Research, Miguel Ángel Quintanilla, visits CIC bioGUNE

A delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science, made up by The State Secretary for Universities and Research, Miguel Ángel Quintanilla, and the general manager of Technological Policy, Carmen Andrade, visited the new Structural Biology facilities of the CIC bioGUNE on the 18th of February. The Counsellor of Education, Universities and Research, Tontxu Campos; the manager of Technological Policy, Alberto Ansuategi and the general secretary of the Vice-presidency, Joseba Alcalde, attended the visit on behalf of the Basque Government.

Escorted by the manager of the CIC bioGUNE, José M Mato, and the scientific manager of CIC biomaGUNE, Manuel Martín Lomas, the political representatives seized the opportunity to get to know the laboratories and research rooms of the Structural Biology building of this centre.

The general manager of Tecnalia, Joseba Jaureguizar; the chairman of the ESS Consortium, Juan Urrutia; the manager of the UET, Cristina Oyón and the professor, Manuel Tello, also took part in this tour.
